Pipeline Manager runs as a hosted service powered by Bindplane. A Honeycomb license key activates Pipeline Manager with Honeycomb-specific branding, capabilities, and configuration.

Before you begin

To set up Pipeline Manager, you’ll need a Honeycomb license key provided by your Honeycomb account team. If you don’t have one, contact your account team to get started.

Set up your account

  1. Navigate to app.bindplane.com/signup and create an account.
  2. Verify your email address if prompted, then sign in.
  3. On the Create a New Organization screen, enter your Honeycomb team account name for the organization name.
  4. Select the I have a license key link and enter the license key provided by your Honeycomb account team.
  5. Accept the End User License Agreement and select Get Started.
  6. The Honeycomb branding appears, confirming your account is activated.
If you skip the license key step during organization creation, you can apply it later. Navigate to Organization Settings and select the Have a license key? link. Enter your key and save. You may need to refresh the page or sign out and back in for the Honeycomb branding to appear.

After activating your account, Pipeline Manager displays a Quick Start Guide that walks you through installing your first agent, setting up a configuration, and rolling it out. Follow the steps in the Quick Start Guide to start collecting telemetry. You can also explore Sources, Processors, and Destinations to configure how your data is collected, refined, and routed. To add teammates, invite them from Organization Settings or set up SSO for centralized access management.
